Saturday Track Conditions

Good tracks in both states - Rosehill Gardens is rated as a Good 4 this morning

Rosehill Gardens and Flemington are the tracks for today's early Carnival racing.

Flemington has been aerated towards the outside of the course, which could create bias to horses ON-PACE and ON-RAILS. Track Manager Mick Goodie has also given the track a good amount of irrigation to help ensure it doesn't dry out to Firm.

At Rosehill, the rail is out to 6 metres from 3 metres two weeks ago. When the track is dry and the rail moves out, there is the risk of an ON-PACE bias. A few millimetres of rain overnight will help to even the track out.

Drier conditions in both states will provide the setting for certain types to show their best. Most strong and powerful on-pace gallopers will enjoy the big tracks and firm footing.
