A classy type - Scissor Kick presents beautifully in the yard

Paul Messara surprised many when he unearthed Scissor Kick last Spring. He's been a trainer that took some of the lesser colts from the Arrowfield Stud, but in this son of Redoute's Choice he has a genuine stallion prospect.

The wide draw in today's Group 2 Hobartville Stakes suits perfectly, a galloper that enjoys galloping room.
