Getting around the bend - How will your horse handle Warwick Farm?

The nice new surface at CAULFIELD and good ol' WARWICK FARM are the venues for today's racing.

With a lot of rain in the lead up to CAULFIELD's last meeting there were a few worries the track wouldn't hold up. In the end it raced perfectly, draining quickly and racing FAIR.

The rail is out to 6 metres out today and the weather is warm. Keep an eye out for any ON-PACE bias.

At WARWICK FARM we come back to a fresh track after a few weeks off. A little bit of rain during the week might result in the OFF RAILS bias we often see there. Especially as horses tend to 'sling-shot' off the tight turn into the centre of the track.

The tight turning tracks at both venues suit gallopers that can get around the home bend under pressure. Leggy types and horses that like to keep a good rhythm might not perform at their best.
