Lion heart - The Cleaner lines up at Caulfield

Caulfield racing this week is a great support card for all The Championships action in Sydney.

Melbourne Cup winner GREEN MOON resumes in the Group 3 Victoria Handicap, while one of the nation’s favourite horses THE CLEANER pushes on for victory in the Group 3 Le Pine Funerals Easter Cup.

The 'Longford Lion' produced another brave on-pace display in the Australian Cup and trainer Mick Burles has decided to stay south of the border and take on SERTORIOUS, rather than search for riches in Sydney.

The Victoria Handicap sees classy WA galloper DISPOSITION resume after his CS Hayes second to Wandjina. He will need to be at his best to overcome in-form horses such as AMORINO and the genuine GRACIOUS PROSPECT.

On the same day as the Derby, lower grade three-year-olds take a step up to 2,000 metres (some for the first time) in the Bert Bryant Handicap, while theshark.com.au Handicap over 1,100 metres sees the talented PRINCE HARADA resume as a gelding.

With cooler temperatures and sunny skies predicted, Caulfield is expected to be a GOOD 3 surface.

Race Previews for Caulfield will be available on Friday at 8am
