Nominations released for Rosehill Gardens this weekend

The nominations are now on-line for Rosehill Gardens this weekend, with a current total of 104.

The main event of the day, The ATC Winter Cup over 2400m, has only attracted six entrants at this point despite the $100k prizemoney on offer and Listed Race status (nominations have been extended). Current entrants include two gallopers out of the epic Stayers Cup, Destiny's Kiss and Secessio, where Astro Avalanche turned the race into an energy sapping test of stamina. It will be a real challenge for trainers Joe Pride and Chris Waller to have them in good shape after such a tough run.

Other entrants on the card include Enormous Honour, who looks suited stepping up in distance on his home track, and Scream Machine, who could take on a similar field to the one he trounced two weekends ago.

Acceptances will be released Wednesday morning and Form Guides will be published soon after. Full Race Guides will be available from Thursday morning.
