Perennial performer - Boban returns to scale after claiming the prized scalp of It's A Dundeel

No. 1 Stay With the Class?

The Light Fingers Stakes over 1,200 metres at Randwick might be a small field, but it's a great tussle between two talented fillies.

STAY WITH ME comes off a Group One winning Spring and GHISONI is the new kid on the block for Godolphin, a potential Autumn Carnival star.

Looking to breeding might give us a clue. GHISONI's mother Portillo came 6th in the Light Fingers in her three-year-old year before going on to win the Surround Stakes over 1,400 metres at her next start.

Just like her mother, GHISONI might need further while STAY WITH ME is ready to strike.

Bet on STAY WITH ME at $4

No. 2 Finding Himself

The Rubiton Stakes at Caulfield is a Group Two sprint over 1,100 metres, the perfect setting for KURO to make his return.

A very tough sprinter, his form last preparation was uncharacteristically below his best.

At good odds he's perfectly suited if the Freedman's have managed to get him back to his old self.

Bet on KURO at $8

No. 3 Final Test

As the Autumn Carnival roles closer, some of the Benchmark grade gallopers are preparing themselves for one final run before a spell.

Gary Portelli's TESTASHADOW is one of those, stepping out again this Saturday after a brave 2nd last weekend over 2,000 metres. He paraded beautifully that day and is holding his form nicely after a long preparation.

The 1,600 metres of Randwick Race 6 is ideal for another win.

Bet on TESTASHADOW at $6.5

No. 4 Going All Out

The Group One Orr Stakes at Caulfield, Race 7 on the card, is an epic contest between some of the best 1,400 metre horses in the country.

Waller's BOBAN has found a new lease of life in recent starts and seems ready to run another big race fresh.

Save your money if you're thinking of backing him each-way though, his record suggest he either wins or does nothing.

Bet on BOBAN at $9 for the win only

No. 5 Dry Track Dynamo

A good dry track is likely at Royal Randwick, which will help those gallopers with a genuine turn-of-foot.

The powerful PRIVATE SECRETARY is a 1,200 metres specialist that will be firing home in the Triscay Stakes (Randwick Race 8).

PEEPING will have to be at her very best to hold her out.

Bet on PRIVATE SECRETARY at $3.4

Power to sprint - Private Secretary is perfectly placed over 1,200 metres on a dry track
