Better off selling? - Sailing By has had some chances and only won one race
Carnival racing action heads to Adelaide and Brisbane in the coming weeks as benchmark events take over in Sydney and Melbourne. The field sizes are good no matter where you look though, it's shaping as a great day on the punt!

Caulield Race 4

Rosehill Race 5
BUY IMPOSING LASS at $5
"A big-striding filly getting onto a bigger track is a good mix, this girl is on her way to Queensland for the Carnival and on the way up. Expected to take up the lead and be very hard to run down."
Adelaide Race 7
SELL SAILING BY at $4.8
"You get the feeling this daughter of Fastnet Rock has had some chances, only winning 1 out of her 10 starts. Drawn in a good barrier and trained by the popular Mick Price. Looks under the odds."
Caulfied Race 8
SELL THAT'S A GOOD IDEA at $8.5
"A big lump of a horse that has to get around the tight turns of Caulfield for the first time. He's never actually raced 'left-handed' in his 32 start career either. Worth betting against after some average-looking trials."
Rosehill Race 9
BUY GODOLPHIN'S MOGADOR at $3.6 and GRUNDERZEIT at $12
"The boys in blue didn't get many winners over the Championships, but they've been scoring at a high rate in benchmark races. These two sprinters are very well placed at the weights and hard to beat."
