Coffee Break Bets

Published: 17 May 2016

A rare visit to Royal Randwick today for midweek racing, a few lucky punters will be out on the grass with a beer in the Autumn sunshine while the rest of us toil away at work.

Whether you're on-track, in the office, on the site or on the road, the Analyst Team have found a few for today.

All odds provided by CrownBet.

12:50pm Wine Flows at Lunch

The first race of the day has a well favoured Godolphin runner FLOW that has a few tricks (can race keenly) up against a whole bunch from the Waller yard. WINE BUSH in particular is worth a look after hitting the line nicely on debut.

An each-way bet and a quinella with the fav' looks good.

2:45pm An Afternoon Favourite

You might think the form-lines of Chris Waller's promising stayer VASSAL look shaky after Meiner Freccia came 5th at Scone. But Kim Waugh's galloper (ran 2nd to VASSAL at previous start) had no luck there and was identified as 'one to follow' by the team.

Follow up on Waller's favourite today, he's a stayer going places.

Bet now on VASSAL at $2.25

3:45pm Sneaking Out for a Filly

If you're out of the office early, check out Kris Lees' filly WAHNG WAH in Race 6. She's an under-rated horse with some black-type form-lines.

The wide barrier shouldn't matter so much today so expect a big run. She'll be well up to Saturday grade next start.

Bet now on WAHNG WAH at $6.5
