A big Handicap race over 1500m at Rosehill a week before an even bigger Handicap race at Randwick over the famous mile - The Group 1 Epsom. A few gallopers in this field may have their eye on that event, including top-weight Ninth Legion. The favourite Rock Sturdy is one of the more genuine gallopers you will see and he is sure to be fighting on at the finish if he can get some clear galloping room from the inside draw. Interesting challenges come from the veteran Mr Chard, who had no luck last start and can bounce back, and Excess Knowledge, a classy Gai Waterhouse stayer resuming. Other tough and genuine types such as Jetset Lad, Vilanova and Best Case will make sure its a fiercely competitive affair. And don't forget the other Gai Waterhouse galloper down the bottom of the weights, Liberty's Choice, who is more than capable on his day. Expecting a close finish in this one, Corey Brown will be desperately looking for that gap.
