The battle of the 'one-paced' stayers over 1800m and 'type' will play a big part in determining the winner. Equator can go forward, but they didn't push on when given the opportunity last start, so there are no guarantees there will be any speed. A genuine 'turn-of-foot' becomes critical to break away from the pack over the last two furlongs. It might be a battle of speed, rather than stamina. Lucky Chappy can quicken on a wet track, although he isn't the biggest horse in the field and might lack the power (and top speed) once they have all warmed up. The only others with any acceleration are Best Case (always chases hard to the line) and Malice (did quicken last start). Then it's out to a few strong, but one-paced, stayers such as Midsummer Sun and Reigning. They both have the quality to win if one of them does decide to roll along. Tricky tactics and 'turn-of-foots', tread with caution here!
