An interesting mix of gallopers line up in this year's Hawkesbury Gold Cup with the clear cut favourite Leebaz coming through a very strong Doncaster Prelude. That race has seen many horses come out next start and perform well, including the winner Weary, who has been twice Group One placed since running over the top of Leebaz late. He should be able to lead here and control the race to his liking and seems to be extremely hard to beat. Some of the outside chances include Guy Walter's improving mare Flying Bay, who should also press forward and brings some handy restricted form into the race. Malavio and Mouro come through The Doncaster with Malavio again showing his determination when running a credible 8th after a very wide trip. Keep Cool has had a stable change after working overtime in his latest open class runs and Wistful bounced back to form last start when dropping back in grade and up to a better distance. She seems to be improving well into her campaign and has looked fitter for recent racing. It's a pretty simple question here, can you find one to beat the Hawke's flyer?
