A great little sprint race to end the day at Hawkesbury. Three classy gallopers are at the top of the weights, however only one of them is a true 1100m speedster. The mare Ichihara has the natural early pace and the barrier to get control over the 1100m course and if Golden Sunshine and Hurrara don't put on too much pressure, she will be very difficult to run down. No barrier trial into this race may be some risk though and she could be one to have good look at in the yard. If the pressure does go on early, then horses like Agent, Tahitian Black and Pocket Rockets will be ready to run home over the top of them. Some interesting contenders outside of this group including Masthead (first up for Waller), Inside Job (always has shown some talent) and Rolston (nice type, but inconsistent). Limes is sure to get support as Snowden's last Darley runner and he would probably prefer to get a nice rolling tempo given he is more a 1400m type. A nice betting affair for the "get out stakes".
