Potential star 3YOs do battle ahead of the big G1 Golden Rose finale in a couple of weeks time. JONKER (blinkers on), LEGEND OF CONDOR and perhaps SANDBAR to set up a FAIR tempo in the lead with our favourite GRAFF drifting back in the pack from a wider barrier. He was so strong last start from the inside, surging home hard, but there's just a little bit of risk from out there despite his obvious class. SANDBAR and LONG LEAF both had very good 2YO form (Golden Slipper) and resumed with impressive runs fresh. SANDBAR near the pace fighting on, LONG LEAF with plenty of power to sprint (may peak). LONG LEAF's Melbourne form-line looks strong. ZOUSAIN and LEAN MEAN MACHINE (wet a risk) the two big question marks after some top quality Queensland runs (is that form good enough?) and decent trials. PERFORMER always an each-way chance.
