He's back to his former home track to defend his perfect '5 from 5' record here and the victory in this race last year. A possible honest STRONG to FAIR tempo will suit him, set by SWEET SERENDIPITY rolling forward, and he did enough first-up over 1100m to suggest he is going well (good reports from the yard too). OLD NORTH ran home well in the same 1100m race first-up and could be on the improve (gelded now this prep), while SIR BACCHUS seems perfectly placed on 55kg second-up over 1300m.
