Kicking off the Quaddie with a small field of 3yos, the scratching of the speedy Queenslander SNITZKRAFT has taken the pressure out of the race. The key form-line comes from the Heritage Stakes, VIRIDINE making it '3 from 3', strong through the line to beat SINGLE BULLET (bit unlucky) and ALBUMIN. The fact VIRIDINE held his margin right to the line suggests he's the one to follow up in distance, but SINGLE BULLET could easily slide across into a good on-pace spot and make it close. Slow-starter CHAUFFEUR back from a 6th in the G1 Golden Rose and may find it tough with less tempo now. BEAU GESTE progressive, but he'll need to improve to figure here. [updated 8:49am]
