Some class in this 1400m 3YO race, but not a lot of early pressure (tempo: STEADY to FAIR). Snowden's runners HYPNOTIST and ISLAND MISSILE fit in very well down in BM 72 grade, ISLAND MISSILE storming home first-up (nice run!) and HYPNOTIST off solid trials with decent wet form. They seem the class runners and have big weights to show for it (still top raters). MR HAUSSMANN, POPULAR and ORIA all in decent form too and capable of showing up, ORIA a horse that can quicken from on-pace if the tempo slackens off. MOONDANCER has to prove he can do it away from Newcastle. SEAHAMPTON promising, she could easily win if she handles the wet better than she did two starts ago.
