Another race with a speed map that is hard to predict, this time the 3YOs over 1400m, almost any of these could go forward (tempo: FAIR to STEADY). Lots of focus on ISAURIAN and RENEWAL, both in fantastic form lately, ISAURIAN charging to the line over 1200m last start (1400m looks ideal) and RENEWAL just peaking on his run over 1500m before putting in a very impressive trial since. Perhaps a slight leaning to ISAURIAN given the upside up to 1400m on a track he could relish. TORVILL has class and won't be far away on recent form, but she is deep in her prep now and giving the boys weight. WAIEMA BAY a nice place chance.
