Sydney punters will know these mares well, it's going to be a closely matched Emancipation over 1500m following the blanket finish in the Coolmore two weeks ago. DAYSEE DOOM was very brave on-pace that day to win, but arguably PROMPT REPONSE was every bit as good (stuck wide). OREGON'S DAY (up in weight here), DIXIE BLOSSOMS and ECKSTEIN right in the Coolmore finish too. Bias, conditions and tempo will be the deciding factors this time, a firm track / near pace set-up suiting DAYSEE DOOM and PROMPT RESPONSE (if not too much tempo...!), while if the 'edge' stays off the track and you can run on FOXPLAY (wants FAIR to STRONG tempo) and DIXIE BLOSSOMS (any tempo OK) look the likely winners.
