A small select group of quality 3YO sprinters. Early speed from PERAST, BOOKER and HOUTZEN should make sure it is a FAIR to STRONG tempo and the best sprinter gets the prize. The problem is trying to pick that horse, VIRIDINE going well of late and in the mix, but there are plenty with recent ratings that would challenge him. PARIAH'S Run to the Rose form (2nd to Menari) is clearly good enough for this, CATCHY had excuses chasing HOUTZEN, who was very strong, and BOOKER is in the mix too. Perhaps I AM EXCITED just a length or so off on current ratings, you can't dismiss her though after three wins from three this prep. Even PERAST isn't hopeless back to a firmer track. [updated 8:52am]
