The Derby, the Oaks and of course the Melbourne Cup, the next eight days of racing are going to produce another chapter in Australian racing history, one that is harder than usual to write before the jump.

Apart from the dominance of ALOISIA in the Oaks field, the other feature races are all wide open, especially now that WINX is back in the paddock. ACE HIGH brings the best Sydney form to a very competitive Derby and a whole stack of international raiders loom large in the Cup. Saturday's Coolmore and Myer are even harder to pick as the bookies get set for a huge collect.
