In-form - Bjorn Baker will test Burbero and Coolring in tough races on Saturday

A good quality off-season card awaits us at Royal Randwick this week. Talented up-and-coming horses I Am Zelady, Amazon and Mardi line-up, while Race 5 is an intriguing betting race in which the in-form Burbero tests his stamina at the Randwick mile.

As for Race 7, the less said about a lowly Benchmark 74 at the peak of the afternoon the better!

Race 1 - Good Project $2.15

"He has class, but is no good thing over 1600 metres, which might be as far as he wants. If some of the others decide to turn the race into a staying test expect it to be tough for him with 59.5kg."

Race 3 - I Am Zelady $7

"Everyone saw her miss the jump first-up. Expect her to do a lot better with a clean getaway. The price seems OK."

Race 4 - Georgey Aeroplane $2.80

"The Race Guide's mounting yard team spotted that he was hot and unsettled first-up. The recent trial was good. Well placed again by Waller in a weak race."

"Another strong galloper that might be a risk at 1,600 metres. He is in career best form though and is value compared to the favourite."

Race 6 - Amazon $10

"She got way too far back in a leader dominated race first-up. Her regular rider gets back on and it seems she is set for a big run."

Race 7 - Proper Madam $16

"Just a small mare, she didn't have the power to sprint last start behind Peace Force. Much better suited in what looks an easier race. Odds are 'overs'."

"He surely ran his best possible race at Canterbury, hugging the turns and giving his all. Hard to justify the short odds coming to the big Randwick circuit. Looks 'unders'."
