The Early Insights from Analyst Team for this week are shown below.

Race 1 - No. 3 Chamarel $5.50

"Another lovely type from the Godolphin stable, this Exceed And Excel Colt may be the one that gets a 'drop' on the many speedsters in the race and storms home. Could be the early value."

Race 2 - Spacecraft $51

"He's a tough on-pacer that just couldn't keep up last time when Monton challenged mid-race. Weighted well and gets control in-front this time. Could be good odds, especially for a place."

Race 3 - Adorabeel $8

"She was every bit as good as Mardi last start and will enjoy a likely Strong Tempo set by Winona Costin on the favourite. Pride has her looking and racing really well this time in."

Race 4 - Always Allison $10

"Trialled with speed and power, dominating from the front. It's a competitive race, but with any confidence from the Waller stable, those odds won't last long."

Race 5 - Sarajevo $2.60

"O'Shea has been trying to train him to race nearer the pace after some sluggish starts last preparation. He has a class edge on most of the field and if James McDonald gets him cleanly out of the gates, they will struggle to hold him out."

Race 6 - Driefontein $8.50

"There aren't many genuine 1200m stars in the feature race of the day and that leaves the door open for this tough Waterhouse mare. A sunny forecast makes those early odds very tempting."
