A consistent gelding - Countryman looks to get the perfect sit today
Warwick Farm backs up a few days after hosting the first Group 1 of the Sydney autumn carnival with the card culminating with a competitive BM 80 Handicap in Race 7. Countryman likes the corner here at Warwick Farm and is up against a few up and comers in Lassitude and Happy Clapper who were both strong to the line through a recent BM 75.
The day kicks off at 1:00pm with the 2-Year-Olds where the Moody camp send Braccenby up from the Blue Diamond Prelude (C&G) - form lines standing strong through Pride of Dubai. He will be trying to fend off the challenge of impressive debut winner Petrossian, Lieder and Tempt Me Not.
