Power to sprint - Open Book resumes in Race 7 today

The last meeting at Royal Randwick before The Championships is the scene for many Carnival hopefuls today. The quaddie legs start with Godolphin's FEDERAL taking on the impressive Cummings filly SHAHRAZAD in Race 4, and end with yet another strong Jo Pride sprinter as OPEN BOOK resumes in Race 7.

Other horses to watch include THIS IS AUSTRALIA in Race 1 at 1:35pm, a keen-racing rogue that new trainer Gerald Ryan could now have under control, and Waller's BALLET SUITE, who continues on her path to the Oaks in Race 6.
