The grand final of Melbourne Autumn racing hits FLEMINGTON today and ROSEHILL GARDENS kicks off a very big three weeks with the running of the Coolmore Classic.

The rail moves to the +3 METRES from the TRUE position at FLEMINGTON after racing there last week. The track was FAIR overall that day, with a only a very slight preference for being ON-PACE. 

Expect similar conditions to prevail again today.

Horses that can sustain a long run are favoured down the long Flemington straight. Powerful horses also get to show their best, winding up to top speed, especially if the tempo is only steady.

After some midweek rain and heavy morning dew, ROSEHILL GARDENS is rated as a SOFT 6. Horses OFF RAILS will be preferred, with jockeys looking for the 'fast lanes' across the track.
