Enjoyed the Conditions - Mossfun sped through a soft track to win last year's Golden Slipper
Sydney Racing
ROSEHILL GARDENS is the focus today for the biggest two-year-old in the world, the Golden Slipper.
The rail moves to the +2 METRES position from the TRUE position after racing there last week. The track was FAIR overall that day, with a nice even racing surface after some midweek rain.
This week, the expected rain hasn't quite come. If the sun comes out and the track remains on the firmer side, there is a chance of the ON-PACE bias we often see.
"(the 1mm of overnight rain) has done us more favours than harm."
Chris Toogood, Rosehill Gardens Track Manager
More POWERFUL horses enjoy a dry and firmer track at ROSEHILL GARDENS, with ATHLETIC types such as HOOKED often not finding their best.

Melbourne Racing
In Victoria, BENDIGO is the focus of the attention after the early Autumn Melbourne Carnival. They last raced at the track three weeks ago (27th Feb) and the racing was FAIR with the rail out +9m.
"The track looks really good, with some give.. minor markings outside nine metres from the last meeting."
Bernard Hopkins, Bendigo Track Manager
It's an almost rectangular track, with sweeping bends and a long 400m straight. Overall, a track that plays to different types of horses.
