Well backed - The money has come for Rekindled Power Hawkesbury
With the downgrade of the track at Hawkesbury, a group of 'wet-trackers' have been well backed in the lead-up to Saturday.
In Race 1, IMPULSIVE SPIRIT is on the improve after his first-up win and has attracted steady support.
SERENE MAJESTY in Race 2 has also seen a steady trickle of money come for her after her 2nd placing on a heavy track on debut.
There has been consistent support for the one-paced LOOPHOLE in Race 3.
Wet trackers MY SABEEL and PERON have been best backed in Race 5.
In the feature race of the day, the Gold Cup, there is some market confidence for Waller's import FLAMINGO STAR. RUGGED CROSS and MEDCAUT have also attracted good support.
One of the stronger market moves has been for REKINDLED POWER in Race 7, after his 3rd in the Group 2 Arrowfield Sprint.
There is no surprise that SONG AND LAUGHTER is favoured in Race 8, she's bred from a family that loves the wet.
At Caulfield, the skies have cleared to what looks like a fine Saturday ahead.
A few horses early on the card that didn't have the best of luck at their latest start have been well backed including HAZARD in Race 1, SEARCH SQUAD in Race 4, and PAYROLL in Race 5.
NORDIC EMPIRE and SUPIDO are the market movers in Race 6, while punters have put their faith in the progressive type MASTER OF ARTS in Race 7.
RED BOMBER, who beat Trust In A Gust last start, has been one of the better backed on the program in Race 8.
