Horse of the Week: Najoom
Published: 11 May 2015
Best of the week - Najoom's win was dynamic
SILVERBALL was impressive, but NAJOOM was dynamic. Her brilliant win in the Group 3 Hawkesbury Guineas at Rosehill Gardens winning her the title of The Race Guide's Horse of the Week.
A smart ride from Tim Clark ensured the daughter of Northern Meteor could control the first half of the race, and her strong motor took over in the straight, sprinting clear to win by four lengths.
Godolphin's talented colt FEDERAL, who has a good turn-of-foot himself, was left in her wake.
