Due for luck - Metaphorical had no luck last time out in Adelaide

Saturday racing returns to Moonee Valley with sunny skies expected through until race day. 

The Quaddie kicks off in Race 6 with a competitive off-season mile race in which METAPHORICAL (pictured above) is out to atone a luckless run in Adelaide last start. TEXT'N HURLEY comes from the same race, while the likes of REFULGENT, DIGITALISM and TRISTRAM'S SUN make it a competitive event.

Race 7, a BM 90 over 1,500 metres, sees the tough on-pacers CHARMED HARMONY and MISS ROSE DE LAGO do battle in a tactical race, while some up-and-coming stayers are tested over 2,500 metres in Race 8. There will be a big watch on well-performed types SECOND BULLET, KAREEMING, LADY CUMQUAT and GOLDEN MANE as they stretch out to the marathon distance for the first-time.

Good quality sprinters round out the day in Race 9. The ex-Singapore and ex-Waterhouse trained MARSEILLE ROULETTE is sure to attract a lot of attention after a recent trial win.
