Top 5 Early Insights @ Rosehill Gardens

Over the odds? - Bagman has the class to win this weekend
A midweek shower has put the Rosehill Gardens track back to a SOFT 7 after drier weather for the last couple of weeks. The forecast looks OK though, we may see some improvement before race day.
Ahead of The Race Guides going on-line tomorrow morning, the Analyst Team have listed their Top 5 Early Insights.
1 - Is the Party Over?
EISENHOWER has had a picnic in the lead at his last two runs.
He's shown fight to win both times, but he'll find it harder this weekend back to Rosehill with a more genuine tempo likely.
Easy time - Eisenhower has got an easy lead at his last two starts
2 - A Different Mirage
Peter Moody had to take MIRAGE back to the trials following his wayward performance last start.
After cruising into the straight he took a right-foot step Billy Slater would have been proud of, throwing away his chance of winning.
Taking the Blinkers Off and putting the Noseroll on seems to have done the trick.
His trial was very impressive!
3 - Risky 'Shorties'
The favourites in Race 5 over 1,100 metres, BROOK ROAD and WONDERBOLT, tend to get back in the pack and run on at the end.
With a STRONG TEMPO likely you'd think they would be favoured, but Rosehill often suits 'on-pacers' over the shorter distances when the speed is on.
If STRATURBO, NUCLEAR CLASS, SENTA DE NOCHE or AROUSED can get the right run they will be hard to catch.
Swoops from the back - Brook Road will need luck to win
4 - Bagman Prays for Sun
BAGMAN lines up in Race 6 over 2,000 metres and his competitors have a lot in common.
Most of them would prefer a softer track, while the Waller-trained veteran is proven on all surfaces and can sprint better than most.
If the track dries out, expect him to firm sharply in the market.
Prefers it wet - Darci Magic is one of many wet-trackers in Race 6
5 - Taking the Punt
GRANDE PUNTO is a quirky horse with lots of talent and power to sprint.
He prefers following the rails and storming home up the inside, often needing a lucky ride to win.
A SOFT track at Rosehill (jockeys often get wider) and Barrier 1 is the perfect set-up for him in Race 7.
No excuses - Quirky sprinter Grande Punto has found the right race
