Genuine galloper - Longeron is a big chance to round out the quaddie tomorrow
Racing returns to Flemington with the rail out six metres after racing on Wednesday in the 13 metre position. Clear skies are forecast on a GOOD racing surface.
Race 6 kicks off what looks to be another tough quaddie with HUSSON EAGLE stepping back in distance up the straight over 1,000 metres. He, along with other fancies ROUGH JUSTICE, FORGIVE AND FORGET and ILLUSTRIOUS LAD, have all drawn towards the inside and might not be favoured if horses are getting wider.
Talented three-year-olds step out to the 2,000 metre journey in Race 7 for the first time. WARRIOR KING, KAPSET and QUEDOUTES are tipped to handle the challenge.
HE OR SHE makes a much awaited debut for the Hayes and Dabernig stable in Heat 4 of The Winter Championship Series. After winning seven races in WA, he's got a touch of 'x-factor' and could be the one to beat.
And in the last, Race 9, one of the more genuine gallopers LONGERON (pictured) goes for back-to-back wins. It will take a strong challenge to wear him down over the 1,800 metre journey.
