Sad week for racing - Takeover Target will be honoured in the Takeover Target Tribute Handicap

The quaddie kicks off in Race 6 with Heat 5 of the Banjo Patterson Series over 2,500 metres with DE LITTLE ENGINE stretching out to a suitable distance range this time in. 

The KENJORWOOD bubble came unstuck last start and he will be out to atone in the feature race of the day in Race 7. He will have a rejuvinated BARON ARCHER to hold out over the 1,610 metres.  

Heat 6 of the VRC-CRV Winter Championship Series continues in Race 8 in a competitive race over 1,400 metres where unlucky last start runners SIR ANDREW and GOOD VALUE (if he doesn't go to Sydney) will be hoping for a more trouble free run to the line.  

The Leilani Series Heat 4 in Race 9 rounds out the program in what may prove to be a tactical affair with JUDICIAL ROCK looking to set his own tempo up front.
