With the Winter Finals Series over, this weekend gives some of the off-season gallopers a good chance to claim a win before the Spring horses return.

On a card with four races down the Flemington straight, jockey tactics will play a feature role. Leading 'hoops' Craig Williams, Damien Oliver and Dwayne Dunn are all in contention for the Jockey's Premiership, they'll be working over-time to lift their mounts through the Winter conditions.

A current rating of SOFT 6 is expected to hold with some further showers forecast. Race day itself sees clearing weather and a strong breeze.
