Horse of the Week: Fell Swoop
Published: 02 Aug 2015
Muscular type - Fell Swoop is a powerful sprinter with a big career ahead
You don't often see big winning margins on a Saturday over any distance, let alone the shorter sprint trips where photo finishes are so common.
That makes Canberra sprinter FELL SWOOP's effort to streak away by three lengths in the Selleys Handicap (1,100 metres) look even more impressive. A victory worthy of this week's Horse of the Week.
Trainer Matthew Dale is aiming at another 'Benchmark' race in a few weeks time, before a crack at the early Spring Carnival riches.
Big margin - Fell Swoop strode clear of the well-performed Inz'n'Out
