Horse of the Week: Japonisme

Published: 17 Aug 2015

Adaptable and genuine - Japonisme is this week's 'Horse of the Week'

All the fanfare was for Waterhouse's VANCOUVER before the San Domenico Stakes last weekend, but it was the rapidly improving JAPONISME that stole the show.

Chasing a rapid speed set by the Godolphin-trained HAPTIC, JAPONISME swept straight past VANCOUVER at the top of the straight and went on to win clearly in race record time. He crossed the finishing line just a fraction of a second outside the Rosehill Gardens track record, a performance worthy of this week's Horse of the Week.

In the big league - Japonisme powered to the line for his biggest win
