- H Bowman on Wudang Mountain (Race 3) - was found guilty of a charge of careless riding in that, after forcing a run where there was not sufficient room between River Wild and Jadeer passing the 400m and making contact with Jadeer and placing Jadeer in restricted room, he then continued to ride his mount along, resulting in Wudang Mountain shifting out near the 300m and contributing to Jadeer losing its running and being checked when crowded between Wudang Mountain and Let's Make It Rain, which shifted in slightly. After giving consideration to matters in respect of mitigation and contribution, the Stewards suspended H Bowman's licence to ride in races for a period to commence on Sunday, 6 September 2015 and to expire on Thursday, 17 September 2015, on which day he may ride.

Race-by-Race Summary
RACE 1: All Too Hard @ Vinery Handicap 2400m
- Soviet Courage – rider T Angland stated that, after having a trailing position in the run, he commenced to improve from the 600m, whereby the gelding commenced to work into the race. He added, when the tempo improved from that point, his mount was left a little flat-footed and found it difficult to make ground when the race developed into a spring home. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame behind. Trainer Mr C Waller was asked to provide a veterinary clearance prior to Soviet Courage racing again. Stable representative Mr L Prior stated that Soviet Courage was given a let up prior to today's race, due to the lack of suitable races programmed and, whilst it was the stable's intention to start the gelding last Saturday at Randwick, given the forecast for this week for wet weather, it was decided to save the gelding for today's anticipated rain affected track. He added Soviet Courage had not missed any work nor had any issues in the lead up to today's race and had pleased the stable in a barrier trial at Warwick Farm on 14 August 2015. Mr Prior was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required prior to the gelding being permitted to start again.
