Horse of the Week: Winx

Published: 16 Sep 2015

Star of the Spring - Winx is a flashy mare on the rise

There's nothing more exciting in racing than backing a swooper that flashes late to get the prize.

Many race track champions have given us great memories of brilliant finishes, including TIE THE KNOT, DORIEMUS and of course KINGSTON TOWN. And Chris Waller now has a mare that is building her own following after a dominant Queensland Winter campaign and barnstorming win first-up last weekend.

The amazing last bound victory of WINX to win the Theo Marks Stakes left us with an obvious choice for this week's Horse of the Week.
