Top 5 Early Insights @ Royal Randwick

Flying form - Talented sprinter Fell Swoop has won in eight out of his ten starts

The Carnival has moved on to Melbourne, but there's still plenty of winners to be found north of the border. Sunshine and a dry track beckons at Sydney's 'headquarters' for the running of the Listed Tatt's Club Cup over 2,400 metres.

Ahead of the Race Guides going on-line Friday at 9am, including a feature Caulfield Cup Guide, the Analyst Team have listed their Top 5 Early Insights below.

1 - Don’t Forget your Form

Race 5 is an evenly-matched 1,400 metre race with lots of chances, including one at big odds down at the bottom of the weights.

BOLD CIRCLE had form around the talented Forget a couple of starts ago, who has since won the Group Three Cameron Handicap at Newcastle.

If you can forgive his last start run the each-way odds look good.

Each-way value - Bold Circle enjoys the 1,400 metres at Royal Randwick

2 - Ready to Attack Again

COUNTERATTACK is the highest rated horse in the Brian Crowley stakes, a sprint race for the three-year-olds.

He was ridden into dead ends up the inside by Jimmy Cassidy last start after winning impressively first-up. It was ‘just a run’ second-up.

He’ll enjoy an honest tempo and might be ridden with more vigour by Jason Collett this time.

Better in open spaces - Counterattack can bounce back in a competitive race

3 - Low Flying Fella

FELL SWOOP keeps reaching new heights this preparation, a muscular sprinter with tactical speed and a devastating turn-of-foot.

He is set to get the perfect trail behind TIGER TEES and THAT’S A GOOD IDEA this weekend and could easily win again.

Knows how to win - Fell Swoop is flying for Canberra trainer Matthew Dale

4 - Beware of the Brute

Waller’s BEATEN UP is a short-priced favourite in the feature Tatt’s Club Cup (Race 8), but it looks justified based on recent form.

He’s a big and tough galloper that will enjoy the small field, a horse that can dominate from the front or swoop from the back.

It’ll take a good horse to knock him over.

Hard to beat - Beaten Up could dominate the feature mile and a half race

5 - Power Runners

If the track dries right out on Saturday and horses are running fast times, those gallopers with more POWER will be favoured.

Expect horses like MORAL VICTORY (Race 5), SOOBOOG (Race 6) and KRISTY LEE (Race 9) to do well in those conditions.

Power to sprint - Kristy Lee can flash home down the outside late
