A star-studded international field is assembled for the Cox Plate, one of Australasia's greatest Weight-For-Age contests. Tasmania's warrior THE CLEANER will roll along and ensure a STRONG to FAIR tempo with classy imports AROD (great form-lines) and HIGHLAND REEL (gets the gun run) right on his hammer. Finding the right spot in the run will have a big impact, slight queries on the classy CRITERION (can over-race in tight spots) and WINX (big up-side, but does she get 'locked up' on the rails?). GAILO CHOP seemed to be drawn well in 8, but where does he go on the Speed Map? COMPLACENT is the knock-out chance that could get the sneaky inside run and pop up. KERMADEC has the class if he can run out a strong 2040m and PREFERMENT is a risk at the Valley - he'll be much better suited in 'the Cup'.
