  • Star Turn (Race 2) – began awkwardly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a small wound to the outside of the offside cannon.
  • Wine Tales (Race 3) – a post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the near foreleg and sustained speedy cuts to the off hind leg. Stable representative Mr P Muscutt was advised that a veterinary clearance must be presented prior to the mare's next race start.
  • Kasiano Lad (Race 4) – when questioned, T Berry stated his mount felt good in its action, however, when challenged early in the straight, did not respond, but gave no warning of its breakdown and subsequent collapse near the 25m mark. T Berry was examined by the Club's Medical Officer, was stood down from his remaining engagements and went to hospital for precautionary X-rays. The Club's Veterinary Officer provided a preliminary report that Kasiano Lad had suffered a serious injury to its near foreleg, with the possibility also of hind leg injuries. As Kasiano Lad was unable to rise and due to the extent of the injuries, the gelding was humanely euthanised and will be sent to the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Camden for autopsy. Trainer Mr J Coyle stated that since Kasiano Lad pulled up mildly lame in the near foreleg on Saturday, 10 October 2015, it has been the subject of routine veterinary observation on three or four occasions this week, with a veterinary clearance provided to Racing NSW Stewards. Mr Coyle indicated he was fully satisfied with the soundness of Kasiano Lad going into today's race. The Stewards will examine the treatment records and await the necropsy report before continuing the inquiry.
  • Wudang Mountain (Race 6) – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a callous to the corner of the left offside lip.
  • Quietly Brilliant (Race 7) - A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding struck itself on the off-hind fetlock.
