Last start winner GAMBLESTOWN and runner-up WINE TALES are again favoured in Race 5 over 1,400 metres.

Sam Clipperton will try and keep the big-striding GAMBLESTOWN in room out wider from barrier 6, giving Glyn Schofield the chance to follow his every move with swooper WINE TALES from barrier 9.

She's got a powerful finish and this could finally be her race!

4 - Ready for Fireworks?

Race 7 is a scamper over 1,000 metres and there's plenty of early pressure.

QUARTZITE, ESGRIMIDOR and QUELL are flying front-runners that could set it up for a swooper from the back.

5 - Bold Crusader

CAPED CRUSADER was set a very tough ask first-up, challenged in the lead all the way before tiring late for 7th behind CAUTHEN'S POWER.

Race 8 this Saturday looks like a much more suitable encounter, he takes on similar gallopers again, but there is no-where near as much pressure.

Not many of them have a good turn-of-foot either!
