Saturday Nominations
Published: 14 Dec 2015
The Nominations are on-line for Saturday racing this weekend at Rosehill Gardens and Flemington, the highest rating race in both states a Benchmark 93 over 1,350 metres in Sydney.
ZIN ZAN EDDIE, who finished a close second to Medcaut last start, could take on first-up winner GOT THE GOSS from Trevor McIlrick's Canberra stable. With only seven horses entered on Monday, nominations have been extended until 11am on Tuesday.
In other Rosehill Gardens races, the talented START WONDERING could resume for Waller over 1,200 metres and I AM ZELADY is set to dominate betting in a Fillies and Mares Benchmark 85.
There are big numbers nominated at Flemington, a total of 226 horses being put forward on Monday. The highest rated is Robbie Griffiths' sprinter GRANE coming off a 9th to Wild Rain in the Listed Doveton Stakes.
It's good to see a staying race over 2,500 metres on the card too, another chance for SECOND BULLET, LADY CUMQUAT and DANJEU to break through, three gallopers in need of a win.
