Talented rogue - Jo Pride's I Am Zelady might be ready to put it all together

1 - All Eyes on the Track
There has been some mixed weather around Sydney, hail storms, lightning and heavy rain all making for an unsettled week.
But there has only been 4mm fall on the Rosehill Gardens track in the last 24 hours and hot days are forecast.
If the track dries out, powerful ‘Rosehill types’ will be suited. We’ll be keeping a close eye on the times in the first couple of races.
The Bet - $3.80 GOT THE GOSS (Race 2) if they run a fast time in Race 1
Drier the better? - Got The Goss might have the edge on Zin Zan Eddie if the track firms up
2 - Mary’s Trump Card
There are five horses in the market in Race 4 and four of them have a lot in common.
CAUTHEN’S POWER, FINAL DECISION, AMMIRATA and MANDALONG KISS have good recent form, but they all enjoy an honest tempo in their races.
MARY LOU on the other hand can race near the pace and quicken. She’s a great early bet in a race without much tempo.
The Bet - $3.70 MARY LOU
Power edge - Mary Lou has the qualities needed at Rosehill Gardens
3 - Clearly Risky
CLEARLY INNOCENT is a stand-out pick in Race 3 after having no luck at his last try at a Highway Handicap.
He’s a big-striding type though and barrier 1 is clearly a risk.
You’ll be hoping Avdulla can find the gap if you take the short odds of $2.10.
The Bet - Wait and see if track conditions suit
Long strider - Clearly Innocent will need some room from the inside draw
4 - Can You Trust Zelady?
I AM ZELADY (Race 6) relished a dry Rosehill Gardens track last start, settling wide out before simply outclassing her rivals down the straight.
She’s set to repeat the performance in similar grade this Saturday, but it’s not all cut and dry.
With a record of missing the start, punters will be holding their breath early.
The Bet – $3.40 I AM ZELADY straight-out to win, not a place
One chink in her armour - I Am Zelady will be very hard to beat if she jumps cleanly
5 - Betting on Upside
Race 8 and Race 9 are both very competitive races with lots of chances. When the form suggests they're all in the mix, looking for those with the scope to improve is a good betting strategy.
SEBRINA, RUSTIC MELODY, THERMOGENIC and SANTA ROCKS are all on the way up in Race 8, while MAHICAN, START WONDERING and PACEMAN will be hard to beat in Race 9.
The Bet - $6.50 SEBRINA, $7.50 RUSTIC MELODY and $8 MAHICAN
Loves the distance - Sebrina won well last time she stepped up to 1,900 metres
