Two Group Ones take place at two different ends of the country today. Brisbane hosts the BTC Cup for the top-level sprinters, while the three-year-old Derby classic takes place in Adelaide.

Unlike the BTC Cup, the Derby in South Australia is race that favourites have enjoyed.
