Horse of the Week: Counterattack
Published: 24 May 2016
Classy young colt - Counterattack is reaching new heights this Brisbane Carnival
The money came late for COUNTERATTACK on the weekend and James McDonald rode him with confidence, positioning the strapping son of Redoute's Choice three-wide outside the leaders in a nice rhythm. He went on to score an easy win by over a length from Takedown and Perfect Dare in what was a strong lead-up to the Group One Stradbroke in a few weeks time.
It was a career-best Group Three victory from a horse on the rise. A performance well worthy of Horse of the Week.
