Much better barrier - Fell Swoop gets the ideal inside draw for this weekends Doomben 10,000
Australian racing is at it's most diverse this weekend, the Group One Doomben 10,000 sprint is run under sunny Queensland skies on the same day as two mile jumps races in a cold wintery Melbourne.
Good field sizes are a theme across all states and the early markets are open. The Analyst Team have scoured the cards to find some early trades.

Randwick Race 5
SELL INZ’N’OUT at $3.3
“A reliable galloper but he seems short for a horse that’s never won over the sharp sprint distance of 1,100 metres. Perhaps a better place prospect if the price drifts.”
Randwick Race 6
BUY MINNESOTA at $8 to place
“She’s a genuine mare racing in good form that won’t be far away from the barrier. Hard to toss for a place at a track that suits.”
Doomben Race 4
BUY HONEY TOAST at $5.5
“Drops back from a brave 6th against some of the better middle-distance gallopers in the Hollindale Stakes. Unbeaten at the distance and drawn the inside.”
Doomben Race 7
BUY FELL SWOOP at $5.5
“After getting stuck wide in the BTC Cup he gets the inside draw around the tight-turning track. After fighting on so well in the TJ Smith a step up to 1,200 metres is well overdue.”
Sandown Race 8
SELL LORD DURANTE at $5.5
“You can bet the winners will be coming out wide late in the day so the inside barrier is far from a blessing. Should drift in the market by jump time.”
