Caufield is usually an on-pacers haven so beware backing horses that run on from the tail. There has been a trend for an 'off-rails' bias though, so the best position could be just off the pace and peeling out.

Royal Randwick has seen some rain and the rails is out. The dry 'lane' which is usually a few horses off the fence will be hard against the rails this time. Nearer the inside could be best.
