Scone Track Guide

The Scone Race Club situated just outside the town of Scone, which is widely acknowledged as the horse capital of Australia. The race track itself, and the backdrop of the mountains, provide a beautiful scenic location. Many meetings are held at the track, typically mid-week, and the club now has a stand-alone Saturday meeting in May each year following the traditional Friday Scone Cup meeting. The track was moved to it's current location in 1994 and every effort was made when constructing the course proper to ensure a perfect galloping surface which it remains to this day.
