Charging to Sydney - Bold galloper Boomwaa lines up in Race 1 at Royal Randwick
The Race Guide's Analyst team is focussed on getting the best information out to punters every week. We aren't a tipping service, but the insights can give a nudge in the direction of some early value.
Early thoughts from the Analyst team for the Royal Randwick card are shown below.
Full Race Guides will be available on Friday at 9am.
Race 1 - TAB PLACE MULTI HANDICAP - 1400m
"She's Clean is a well-performed mare that seems to have enough of a sprint to win this. Boomwaa won well, but he might be too short in current markets, especially as he's just a three-year-old."

Race 2 - HYLAND RACE COLOURS HANDICAP - 1000m
"Such a competitive race for the youngsters, it's hard to be sure if the market has made any mistakes until they step into the yard. You can't go too wrong backing Godolphin each-way if you have to have a bet."
Race 3 - DRUMMOND GOLF HANDICAP - 1150m
"Adjective just might be a good one, he trialled like a 'bomb', but hard to tell if he'll get out to a better price on the day. You have to like the way he as got better every start so far."
Race 4 - J.B. (BARRY) MAHER MEMORIAL HANDICAP - 1400m
"A really interesting race given so many gallopers lack a turn-of-foot and there is no tempo. Perfect Weapon has raced really poorly over the last 200 metres recently - was it the young apprentice? He could be worth a gamble and the odds should drift further. Smart Moochi is going better than his form looks and might be value too."

Race 5 - TAB REWARDS HANDICAP - 1300m
"A very poor mares race, but the winner still pays the same! Hard to be confident. Frill Seeking seems suited out to 1300 metres at Randwick, she just isn't that much value in early markets. Medusa's Miss has put on some weight with her new trainer and is racing better now."
Getting stronger - Medusa's Miss has strengthened up over the last season
Race 6 - DECLARATION OF WAR @ COOLMORE PLATE - 1600m
"The Alfonso is the one and the current bookies markets seem to know it. There is a risk that Laidback Larry rolls along in front (he's very one-paced and Waterhouse knows it) and that could give Black Jag a nice trail. He's the each-way value."
Race 7 - JAMES BOAG'S PREMIUM HANDICAP - 1000m
"No-one missed Inside Job's run last start, it was huge! He's a big horse though and just might lack the 'zip' back to the sharp sprint trip. Agent is very well-placed on his best, expecting him to start shorter in race-day markets."
Race 8 - TAB.COM.AU HANDICAP - 1800m
"A better sized field at least, even if the quality is just so-so. Jitterbug, Great Esteem and Unique look the main chances if you can find value with the bookies on either."
