KAIZAD the likely leader from the Waterhouse Bott stable with a couple of talented horses looking for a spot just behind. Both OSTRAKA and MAKARENA come off strong last start 2nds and set the benchmark for others to beat here. A leaning to MAKARENA given she has had the run this campaign and the step up to 1250m looks ideal now. It's worth watching the others in the yard, including the well bred debutantes DORADUS and OMELETTE, but the two favourites are clearly the horses to beat.
